Please be aware that the Galleon Beach Club resort as such has been closed for some years, pending a sale, which we are reliably informed is imminent. This closure has the advantage of there being less people on the beach; conversely there are no Club facilities, although 24 hour security and site maintenance continues. The 20 on-site privately owned villas are little affected.
Award winning Lime Hill Villa, Galleon Beach, English Harbour, Antigua, infinity pool, 4 double bedrooms, sleeps 8, from just £685 ($950) per night, that’s only £86 ($119) each…
Lime Hill Villa is no longer listed on Tripadvisor etc. as it is usually fully booked in high season, mainly by repeat guests.
Architect designed Lime Hill was built in traditional colonial style in 2002, and has four air conditioned double bedrooms, each of which has an equally stunning sea view. Enjoy the Infinity swimming pool, surrounded by a secluded tropical garden, or take a few minutes stroll down the hill to the beach. A spacious furnished gazebo was finished recently, giving additional living space coupled with truly breathtaking views over Freemans Bay and into Nelson’s Dockyard, perfect for a sundowner or three…
In January 2019, Conde Nast Traveler named Galleon Beach as one of the world’s top beaches.
The villa is nestled into the hillside, situated high on the rim of gated 20 acre Galleon Beach Club, Freeman’s Bay, very close to historic Nelson’s Dockyard, arguably the best location on the Island, being featured on almost every Antigua brochure world wide, which usually shows a panoramic view of the whole Galleon area taken from Shirley Heights. Freeman’s Bay is a beautiful quintessentially Caribbean seaside scenario, with a gently sloping white powder beach, calm clear sheltered warm water, bordered by palm trees, as shown in our photographs. PLEASE VISIT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO1SGrc_EzU FOR AN AERIAL VIDEO OF GALLEON BEACH, courtesy Luxury Locations.
The villa’s swimming pool overlooks Galleon and the entrance to Nelson’s Dockyard, a favorite haven for yachts of all sizes, always something to see.
Free metered internet, ‘All in one’ printer available, smart widescreen TV wth CD player.
There is an occasional ferry service costing a few dollars from Galleon Beach to the Dockyard and nearby hamlet of Falmouth, which has a varied selection of shops and a well stocked mini-market. For your Big Shop, there are several excellent large modern supermarkets near St Johns, about 40 minutes drive away.

One of the most appealing aspects of Galleon is that it is just 10 minutes drive (or why not take a 5 minute boat ride) from shops and numerous restaurants to suit every pocket and taste, and nearby sporting activities such as tennis, scuba, snorkelling, sailing. Cedar Valley golf course is about 40 minutes drive away. Being in the National Park, there are several very interesting and sometimes challenging walks on your doorstep. Do as much or as little as suits you. If you are interested in history, Georgian Nelson’s Dockyard and the surrounding area will fascinate you.
Lime Hill has furnished patios front and back, Gazebo, and a large Weber gas barbecue under a Grillzebo, giving a choice of dining options, inside and out.
Car hire is strongly recommended as there are so many interesting and unique places to visit. Antigua roads are not of the best, and the Lime Hill driveway is quite steep, and slippery when wet, so you may like to consider a 4×4, very common throughout the Island. If you rent from Titi, who knows Galleon well,firstname.lastname@example.org he will collect and deliver you from and to the airport free of charge.
The photographs on this website convey a good idea of the property and surrounding area, it really is as idyllic as it looks. For quality and value, we think Lime Hill is unbeatable, but please check for yourself…
Please ask for our Guest Information sheet, which provides details of some of the amenities in the area, including the many restaurants, shopping etc.

” We loved our family holiday at Lime Hill on Galleon Beach. The bay and beach are perfect for swimming, being very sheltered and we swam with turtles and saw some wonderful fish whilst snorkelling. The house has amazing views and lots of places from which to sit and take them in. It was perfect for a family with older children, being well equipped and spacious for the five of us “
